Freeze Plug replacement

I searched and found this replacement plug on this site...

i have a leaking freeze plug, its rusted out in a small spot at the bottom of the plug, its the 3rd one back

I want to use one of these to replace it,

Anyone here used these ?

Napa P/N 600-4012


I hope i dont have to pull the turbo.... i think i can get the new one in but getting the old one out might be tougher

any suggestions to make it easier ?

I'm not sure about the napa part number, but freeze plugs really aren't too bad to do. u probably will have to remove the turbo to just make the job easier. Typically you can punch a hole in it or drill it (make sure you drain the coolant first). Put a big screw driver or a prybar in the hole and pry it out, once it bends a little it should pop right out, PB blaster might help too. Let me know how it turns out for you.
 
I got a few of the original plugs from Cummins, im going to replace the leaking one next week when a new exhaust manifold will be installed ,... so kinda killing 2 birds at the same time,
