watching my videos of my pulls i see that the front of my truck rises about 4 to 5 inches when i pull even with 900 lbs over the front bumper. question is if i would strap the front axel to keep the front end down would it help me in pulling?? or would i get a bounce out of it??

are you running blocks in the rear? i would say your not, if you can't run blocks at your pulls then put stiffer springs in the rear. Your truck is like a lever and the rear axle is acting like a fulcrum...

Lift the front of your truck with screw jacks befor you pull about 3'' or so. That way your front wont lift so high when pulling, and it will already be up 3'' when you get your hitch measured.(then it'll only go up about an inch when pulling) Then screw them back down,if ya drive it to the pulls. When your front end raises that high, you loose hitch hight!
