Thinking of differant setups for my Dana 60 and wanted to see what you guys are doing

ARB air locker?
Lincoln locker?
Posi-lok cable?
Factory cad?
One piece shafts with lock outs?

Whatcha got?

Its not done yet, but going with the ol lincoln locker and posi-lock cable.

lincon locked and cad
when doing gears going detroit tru trac and posi lock

Works better than vacumn bs on a street truck!

I run a Detroit True-Trac in the front of Black Ice, with 35 spline axles, inner & outer.

Lol ya Garret I know, the posi lol works great if you can engage it. Michaels posi lok never engages. The main reason the posi lock was made was for the gas trucks. The vacuum in a gas truck always fluctuates so the chance of it disengaging are increased. With the diesel there is always a supply of vacuum, so the chances of it disengaging are slim to none.

Anyway.

I think the best and strongest way would be an ARB, 35 spline one piece passenger axle, 35 spline drivers side axles, and be done with it. Cheapest? Not so much. Lol.

Right but in snow etc, if you run through a snow drift it can tear the vacumn lines off the actuator, happened to me more than once while plowing snow!
