my truck has 44000kms on it and now there is fuel in the crank case... so its going to get fixed under warranty but no one seems to be able to tell me whats going to happen to it... so is that a total rebuild or what?

And this is an 08 we are talking about? I am guessing it is since the truck in your signature probably doesn't have a warranty on it anymore.

As for the fix, not sure. I guess it depends on what the internal damages are. My guess is you will probably end up with a new short block and possibly a new injector or injectors.

The techs like to just use a complete drop-in crate engine. That would be my guess.

My truck just got a short block when this happened to mine. The techs probably do like a complete drop in for the ease of it, but it is up to FOMOCO whether they send one or not. The cheaper route is usually taken....

you've got a leaking injector line under ur valve cover thats all thats wrong

strange.. they tried to tell me that we needed to change the oil more...sounds like bs to me

and yes that would be my 08 F-550 work truck i was talking about thanks
