I was loosing 2 to 3 mpg when my pinion seal was leaking and the rear end got low, also there is a bolt with a spring and a bering in the vp44 that cotrolls the inturnal pressur of the pump, and if it cant you will get the p216 also and losse the mpg this part is cheep and the cause of 30% or more of the vp44 that get replaced and people dont bother tooking at this.

I went out of town for a trip so I am still working on that tank. I did jack the truck back up after about a week of running it with the new brakes and they are still spinning good. I should know here in about a week or so of what the new city mileage is and I will pass it on. I currently have about 171,000 miles on it but the previous owner didn't take the greatest care of it.
