Fuel pressure problems

I decided that I needed to post an update for you all.
Pump in, no leaks; however at 700 miles the rotor in the pump split in half while I was 100 miles from home. I installed my "toolbox spare" and shipped the pump back to Aeromotive for repair. Pump was returned in a week - 1200 miles later it failed again - split the rotor. :bang:
Aeromotive stepped up and shipped me a rebuilt A1000 pump. I purchased and installed an adjustable pressure regulator. I now have a solid 20 pounds of pressure at idle, and it drops no lower than 18 pounds with the Juice set on level 6. 1500 miles and some praying on the new setup.
I am not happy about the first pump, but Aeromotive stepped up with first class customer service - which in my opinion says a lot for their company. Another plus, this is a USA made product, manufactured in Lenexa Kansas.
