I just replaced my VP. I was running a holley blue through the stock lift pump. It was too much pressure on the VP according to my supplier. I took the stock lift pump out of the line and I'm only running the holley blue. My question is have any of you done this and does your pressure fluctuate a lot at idle? Mine fluctuates between 11 and 15 pounds and does it pretty bad. I'm thinking of putting a bypass return regulator on and regulating at 12 psi. What do you guys think?

12-13 all the time will be fine Todd.....

Because your truck is haunted by electrical gremlins, after thinking on it all night, your truck needs an exorcism :D

Where did you tap for your fuel pressure?

You can get pulses if you tap at the shraider valve on the VP itself. I don't think you should be seeing THAT much of a flucuation, but I usually see 1-2 psi movement with my FASS 150.
