got a 2000 super duty that was a 7.3 now a 12v. Just deleted the mechanical lift pump and got all new fuel lines and a regulator. i had it unhooked for a while with the fuse removed as i was running the stock 12v lift pump for a little while. now, my engine harness is stripped of everything but some 12v key on, oil pressure, water temp, and tach. under what circumstances will the fuel pump not operate? how many different things are missing that are causing this problem? i know the fuel pump isnt getting electricity as i tested it so im not really sure where to begin looking for answers cause all i ever did was unhook the pump and take the fuse out. what circuit is missing that is causing this i guess is a good way to put it?
