fuel pump options for a 12 valve?

My 12v dynoed 644 last week with a completely stock fuel system. It makes 50psi at idle but is being drawn down to 18psi at wot. I would check the screen in the fuel heater and stretch your return valve spring out some. Then check fuel pressure to verify. Also how old is your fuel filter?

I have a FASS with 180GPH motor on it that last fall at our dyno day was only putting 27psi to the P-Pump.In December the pump failed and it was repaired and had a 200gph pump placed on it which was running at 50psi and the truck was dynoed again to see what difference it made. The old motor at 27psi would pull down to almost 10psi at WOT and the new one stays steady at 50psi under full throttle. There was absolutely ZERO difference on the jet in HP or torque between the runs and you could lay them on top of each other and they were exactly the same.

644 with what charger setup?.
How do you lay down 644 and only trap 106?

my factory pump has 180k on it so im sure its just getting weak, at any rate, the holley black is a 60 psi pump i think, 110 GPH if i remember right

i did a little over 450 and 1000lb ft. on the stock lift pump with the stock turbo and the truck had plenty of fuel. but back in august i think, i started loosing boost, so i changed my fuel filter and it didn't help, so i thought my lift pump was dying, and still think it is, but i would bet its probably just my prescreen filter thats hasn't been cleaned in 140,000 miles. so im gonna clean that before i order my airdog, and i would say thats probably your issue too, because my dads truck went 235k on the stock lift, and he replaced it due to a low power issue and it didn't really help.

My 20k mile lift pump was drawing down to 5psi on the dyno making 580hp. Went with an Air Dog

What do you have 4 pressure now?
Been back on the dyno yet?

Mine made the power in my sig with a low pressure VE style piston pump and the stock fuel line no helper pump.
Have since updated engine mounted pump and 1/2" fuel line with draw straw and 110gph mallory pump.
Havent been to the track or dyno yet.

I make north of 600 on a a factory lift pump with over 100k on it.

(Dunbar Certified...)

hmmmm.......can i bypass the prefilter/heater and be ok?

just bypass it. put a bushing in the lift pump and screw in the fitting from the heater. I removed my heater but had to cut the mounting bracket since it it used as a spacer for the lift pump.

My 12.9 @ 106 was with a single turbo last august. My 644hp dyno run was done with the new twins I installed two weeks ago. I'm hoping for a little faster times now.:Cheer:

sorry im new to the 12v. are you guy still running the factory pump in the engine when you put and electric pump like and aeromotive a1000 or a holley pump?

My factory pump was dropping down to about 10-12lbs at 700hp. At 600 or less I wouldn't want the extra headaches and reliability issues of an electric pump. If you want more pump just because, go with a Mitusa pump. Lightyears ahead of an electric.

Ron are you running a Mitusa? is that the one that is belt driven with an electric backup? I thought it only had like 15 psi. max. how well does it work for higher HP applications?

30psi at WOT and it made around 590 or so hp with just the Air Dog change. I should go back through my dyno files to double check that though.

Thanks man: For some reason i'am just now upgrading my fuel system, P pump and twins on the stock fuel line and pick-up.
