Fueling problem?

I have been looking into the aeromotive pump and Liking what I have read about it so far. I have been trying to search posts about the pump here on comp d but I am having troupe finding anything informational. If anybody has any input or knows of any posts about the A 1000 I would really appreciate if someone could lead me towards the right direction

Instead of changing the lift pump I pulled the p pump and had the shop turn the barrels and I got a little over 400 cc out of it with 191s, no plate, and full rack travel. After installing the pump and putting timing to 26 degrees the truck finally runs great now and doesn't fall on its face anymore. My problem is that I have too much fuel now. After driving it last night I get a pretty good sized cone flame out my tail pipe!!! My question is what would be the best way to cut fuel back and still keep the decent power it has gained? Do I put less timing, put in a 100 plate or adjust AFC spring for less rack travel?

Would lower timing mean less fuel on top end? I'm saying I'm over fueling on the top end and I have already double checked it's at 26 degrees

Too low of timing = waiting too long to start the injection event = fuel probably burning on its way out of the exhaust.

About your question of lower timing & top end power... To shift the power band towards higher rpms/top end, we increase timing.

Anyway, you might need a longer/stiffer afc spring and a fuel plate. Still don't know fuel pressure but you say it's running great.
