Getting some stuff done on my truck,, with pics

Will the traction bars do okay in single shear? I'm interested to see how well they work out, I have never seen a setup like that!

I havent either, im interested to see how well they hold up. Its different for sure.

These bars wont work good on a puller... these will put the force forward through the frame,,, not lifting, like what I see on most pullers traction bars,,, that dosent work well for a drag situation, takes too much weight off of the front end, then causes spin,,
 
Some more pics... went to start it tonight, but the battery was pretty much dead,,, and we got a bit of a smoke show from somewheres.. here is some more pics

More parts coming in tomorrow,, hopefully get it started in the morning,,, then do the retork, then another cycle done tomorrow,, and 3rd retork on sunday morning.... heres hoping anyways
 
No the IC will be there,, I couldnt find the parts in town to make the pipe, but should be here tomorrow. Cant wait to see this thing all buttoned up
 
Here is some more,, finally got her fired up today,, having some issues with the Dr P throttle control yet, and have a couple touch ups on the NX boost controller,, then the wiring will be complete,, nitrous lines are complete and installed, have to do a couple more retorks on the head yet,, and I need to get some odds and ends.... and figure out a puke tank for it too

Anyone have any ideas as to where to run the MAF? That is another little job I have to get done
