gonna go look at a 05 this weekend.. need help

The truck is a 05 gmc has 221k miles on it.. my question is i was told that they start havin bottom end problems around 220k miles . Is there any truth to this? Anything else i need to look at?

I haven't seen that, but CP3 is most likely tired as Duramaxes don't have lift pumps and seem to start showing signs of weak pumps around then. Look for the normal stuff to make sure it is stock or showing signs of hard use.

Ok thanks alot.. ill check the upper radiator hose an make sure its not hard.. look for velcro on the fuse box.. other than that should it be ok..I just need a comfy and reliable tow rig..
