Your right he did compete with them and he is one that i feel on good day we can compete with and on bad days he will kick your butt. I have pulled against terry many times and he has beat me a hand full as have i beat him a hand full. You must not have been at the pull considering my turbo didnt spool tell 150ft on a 240ft track. So yes he did compete and i maybe would have been closer if my truck ran right but you should know from experience that when your truck dont run right you cant win them all.

What are the handful, that you beat him at?

I still feel real strong that Tim W. John G. Garret and me could all compete in DHRA street diesel. So your telling me that garret couldn win a badger pull but he goes to houston and competes isnt saying that badger trucks can compete in DHRA.

When you wrote what you wrote, no, Garrett was not competitive in DHRA. The DHRA boys were putting a lot of feet on us. Late in the season, we did some chassis mods that allowed him to put 17 feet on Tim. We knew the power was there, we just had to find the leak. The Badger season was done by the time we figured out where the leak was.

I don't know what John is doing, but I know Tim is doing a bunch of stuff, and we are starting to tear down Garrett's engine this weekend. I think this coming season is going to be a whole different ballgame.

So just how big is that charger you have on there now? 150ft.to spool? DAYUUUUUM!!! Sounds like Garrett's run at Indy!! :hehe:

I pulled against him maybe 6 or 7 times i beat him in missouri, i also beat him at one DHRA pull and i know at shieds it was within a foot cant remember the exact out come. What i ment by that was you dont always run right and im sure when i beat him he had issues just like when he beats me i have issues. Terry is a great guy, very nice to me and i enjoy pulling against him even when he wins at least i know someone one who deserves it.

I agree in the begining he was not competing, but you guys got things figured out and in the end garret did really well. So your telling me Tim and john cant compete dhra, i competed in the top 10 at most the big pulls i was at and i know those to can compete with me we went off and on all season. Its a 3.0 but we had other issues causing it not to spool.

In MO, I recall Tomac first, Coppess second, Cole 3rd.
Many people in the qualifications let out of it. Don't think that counts.

I can't really say about John, but no, Tim could not have competed in DHRA. He would have gotten disqualified because of the RPM limit that was in effect last year. Tim told us that he came out if the hole at 5k+ RPM. This year, without the RPM limit and the mods he's doing, he may very well kick all our butts all over the track.

My question Wes is I think your truck could be way up there.
What are the issues you appear to have lighting the charger?? What size charger are you running?

There was a pressure senser that would not alow the truck to give enough fuel. Im running a garret 45 witch is a 3.0 with the reducer we have in it.

I agree tim is not legal for the class, and yes he might kick butt next year his truck runs very strong. I think though if a few DHRA trucks came and pulled in badger a few badger trucks would be right up there in the top.

I mean the multiple times I have seen it. There have been a few times that your truck gets with it, but several times I have seen issues as it not lighting the charger. Surely not the pressure sensor everytime.

No your right when we had the Garret 42 on for the most part of the season, we had issues with the tune. At shields the first pull we had up pipe problems. Now on the 45 a sensor, we seem to have alot of luck but non of its good. we have been only really pulling for a year, we are trying to get the hang of it but it takes time.

I guess we will see what happens at the NADM pull we are sponsoring in Racine. Granted it's not going to be DHRA, but hopefully some of the big boys will show.

If you guys/gals put half the effort into your own trucks that you do in trying to put Wes down, you would all be better off. He likes to pull and makes a lot of events. Is there something wrong with that?

Sounds good, settling it on the track is always better. When is that pull, and is it a badger or not.

The NADM pull is June 7th. Last year, when DHRA did the pull, Badger pulled Friday night and Saturday was the DHRA hook. I think it is going to be the same this year. I haven't seen a Badger schedule yet, but I think it is going to run concurrent.

Bobo, no one is putting Wes down from what I can see. Wesley made a controversial statement in my eyes on thedieselplace and never responded when we called him on it back before the Dubuque pull.

As far as settling it on the track, what is there to settle? I didn't say that my truck will kick your trucks ass (or anyone elses for that matter) etc.. Neither did Diva.

I do look forward to hooking against everyone this year though!
Will you be hooking Bobo? I saw your Utica pull, very impressive!

Everyone is running new setups and or made changes to their current setups. Things are evolving and I think it will be a great season!

Thats right i believe my statement they would, what your missing is last weekend i pulled in the pro street class not street diesel, pro street is more like a super street class. Drop boxes, straight axles, four disk clutchs a whole different ball game. Thats why we are building a truck that will hopefully compete with that level of competition. No were in that statement did i say that my truck or Bagder trucks could compete with that level of competition.

The only way you are going to win at this level of competition is with a mechanical duramax... Twin Cp3's ain't gonna cut it!
