Yes I am sure it is a gt4288. Tag on the side says gt42.
And yes I am sure the second is a gt4594.

I will get the turbine numbers on the gt45 tonight.

Yeah considering Garrett never made a gt4288 or gt4594..... A gt45 would be a 79.8mm inducer not a 66. They only make a gt4508. Like zstroken said would make sense considering your specs are what those chargers are not what you say they are. It's simple research on garretts website.

I would tend to agree that the GT4294/4202 are the common GT42, and the GT4508 is the common GT45, However the turbine measurements he gave are close to a GT45 IIRC. The GT42 was a 3" exducer turbine IIRC.

Garrett made some odd stuff for OEMs though maybe they made something for the OEM that needed these combos, so I won't say that what he describes doesn't exist.

The GT4594 sounds like it has the right turbine, but the GT4288 sounds like it has a smaller turbine than the 74mm exducer GT42 turbine. So are there different turbines for a GT42?

So what defines a GT42 then? I was always under the impression that GT42 had x turbine, GT40 has y, GT45 had z, etc, etc.

I assure you they are what I say they are. And garrett made several different Gt4594 models for volvo.

The second is a Gt4288 model #452174.

Both are very clean chargers, both fresh and balanced.
