Put in studs/ gaskets. Hard to start first time figured it would due to oil and fuel out of everything. Got it started and now still hard to start if it sits. Any help. Thanks

go drive the **** out of it for 20 min or so.
gotta get all the air out of the high pressure oil system. If it still is hard to start after that when the truck is warm, I would look at stand pipes.

Yes, those are the stand pipes. Also the dummy plugs that are in the rail are known to blow o-rings and leak off oil pressure. Most of the time though they take a while to get starting good after having everything apart.

Guess I should have said if it is an late 04-07. 03's and early 04's dont have dummy plugs.

Log type oil rail vs web type, log type has no dummy plugs. If your injectors are tight and the high pressure oil connections are good it can take 100 miles of driving to get the air out.

My bet is you haven't driven it far enough to get the air out of the oil system.
