Hard to start in the Morning

look on your passenger side valve cover and see if there is a 3 wire sensor near the glow plug controller.

If you dont see it, more then likely your icp is in the rear.

What if it does smoke while trying to start? What does that signify?
 
could be a multitude of things..EGR cooler or injector. whats the smoke smell like?

I can't really compare it to anything, but its strong. Maybe like a raw fuel smell. Ford told me yesterday one of my batteries is only reading 450 cranking amps where the other is reading 750. Will that cause a hard start too?
 
I got a question on this my truck will hardly start after sitting a few hours and it shakes rattles and rolls seems like it gonna fly apart. but will slowly smooth out and it kinda stutters. What would do this injectors?
 
i have a update.

just got my truck back from the dealer who put in the studs for me and did some kind of flash because now the truck starts fine in the mourning. Also whats the break in period for the studs???
 
There is no break in period. It was either done right.......or not. LOL
