Hard to stear while setting still

this don't come close to the style pump on the my son 07.I had the releif apart and looked .
 
Our 06 had always done this and I know of another 07 with the same problem, as soon as you move a bit you have steering......

Bump to the top. My 05 seems to be getting worse. It's a real ***** to back a trailer. I don't know if I should start with the pump or hydro boost.
 
I went with the pump it was cheaper.I have the gauges to do some testing have to make some fittings and make the time.have to get my old ford back together first.

It looks like rock auto has some good prices on pump and resivoires. I guess I will start there too.
 
My steering was difficult to turn before my pump went bad. Check tire pressure, if that's good it's probably the box or pump. If you want to be sure, check the pressure off of the pump
 
What is the max and min for the pressure at the pump.
