I'm new to this forum just got a few questions i'm hoping i can get an answer to. I got a 95 eclb 12 valve 0 fuel plate and the afc slid forward. I recently just did a lift pump in my truck (stock replacement) and it starts much better now. Recently my truck started to haze white smoke at idle. I've been reading many forums saying slipped timing and i'm almost sure its the problem. Also trucks getting a little noisly and could probably use a valve lash test. Any ideas of what the haze could be or is it most definitly the timing. Thanks

Smells like burnt oil a little bit but they got 190k on them. Turbo isn't leaking by the looks of it, motors stock besides fuel plate

Okay i'll check my turbo. Is it going to be noticeable like oil coming through or just look for a warn out and old seal?

Might want to look at the turbo inlet and outlet for signs of oil. To go farther, pull the exhaust manifold and check the ports also.

Okay thanks guys. There is what looks like oil but could be tranny fluid from when i filled it in the downpipe. Should i pull the downpipe and see if oils in my exhaust?

What type of idle. when you first start it or after it gets hot and your at a stop?

It hazes more at first then gets a little better. I turned my starwheel up and it hazes less.

Start up white smoke is normal on a cold engine. The rest sounds like blowby you have 190k
