Just had a thought....we have a 400 BCIV at work that lost a rod....and the turbo is good, and free, has anyone ever twinned a 3b with an he351? My thoughts are that it would work.....what do you guys think?

I've read about a few people who have done this, it worked well for them.....

My race truck is similar, however, it's an He351 over HT4B (83mm) instead of a typical HT3B (73-76mm)

I've read about an He341 over HT3B, reportedly a fast spooling towing setup with plenty of air for cool exhaust temperatures.

Hmmm.....what's the harm in fabbing it up I guess....worst comes to worst I don't like it and I can sell it, everyone likes twins LOL

Check the ar on the turbine housing. They were mostly 32cm witch is a little on the large side. A single entry 26 or even a 22cm would be a better choice.

Good setup, I switched to the 341 for quicker spooling towing. I don't push my truck over 50 to 55 lbs of boost, it's just a work truck. I think you will like the setup. A spring wastegate is the easiest way to go and be sure and drill the wastegate out.

Subscribing, my buddy has a he351 lying around that I'd like to run instead of my HX35-14. I'm sure it would be similar only with the top turbo spooling up quicker due to the smaller housing.

I've got to get off my butt and build my setup. I've got all the parts, minus the boots and clamps. Just haven't had time. I'm also kinda holding until we see more out of the batmo wheel for the HE351.

I only took an interest in the he351 because of your thread on cf, patracy, that was a great help to me while doing my conversion
