he351ve, who is water cooling theirs?

I'm figuring on hooking it up on mine. Not sure how I'll run it yet.

Was thinking about hooking it to the heater and drill/tap the elbow off of the thermostat for the return to the upper radiator hose. That way it will get cooled. Either that, or hook it in series with the heater supply side, and that will give me a bit more heat in the cab for winter.

Looks like it takes banjo bolts to hook it up on the turbo?

If you not use the heater (in summer) will it still cool the turbo?

As far as I know, these trucks use a blend door, not a valve to control coolant flow through the heater core to adjust the temp in the cab like a big truck usually does.

You have right the hoses were hot even if i had the heat off in the cab.
Have you order a controller yet?

Need to get a hold of Bayden to see if they are shipping yet. He has my info, just haven't heard back yet.

mines all mechanically controlled... water cooled electronics wouldnt fit between my engine and the shock tower haha... never had a prob with vanes sticking... works great!! great turbo!!!

are you water cooling it? what did you do with the holes in the side?

it doesn't seem like he is water cooling his, i know i wont be. But the holes shouldn't need to be plugged, the water passages are separated from the oil... so i don't see any need to plug the holes up. If i ever do decide to run water i will just be sure to clean the passages really well.
