Head gasket for o-ring

Putting my engine together, just pickup my new head. Measured piston potrusion so looks like I'm going to be opting for a .010 over head gasket. Question is what gasket are you supposed to use for a o-ringed 24v head. Pure diesel sells a modified marine 12v gasket to use with a oringed 24v head but I was under the impression any 12v head gasket would work?

Thought just the common rails had to be modified to fit.

Snedge can correct me, but I believe all 12v gaskets are the same now, marine or not. That 12v gasket is "modified" by enlarging the coolant holes to match the 24v style. The part number he gave you is good for O-rings.

Alright, was just curious, I always thought that the common rails were the only ones you really had to message out, just second guessed my self when I seen the years on that "modified" gasket. Thanks
