I have a 2001 HO engine.
The head is comming off in a week or so. Going to pull all the valves and take a good look at things. Since the block is "O" ringed instead of the head, I am buying a little reliability there.
But there is the press in seat issue....My head has seed 1500F a few times, but only on some hard dyno pulls. Max on the street for any period of time was 1200 or so.
