Well he was feelin good until u show up with this!:doh::hehe: Just out of curiosity what tuning were u running on the truck when the head gasket let go?

Ive seen several around here at local pulls that have no problems at all. All are around 450-520hp trucks. I think with a stock turbo you shouldnt have anything to worry about, unless you like to play with a lot of nitrous or if you severly screw up the tuning playing with EFI Live.

something was different in 01 trucks from what I understand and therefore they sometimes blow headgaskets even on stock trucks... not necessarily from over boosting them.

Having a brain fart on what it is that's different though.
