Headstud torque ?

ever heat a piece of steel up? when does it stretch easier? My suggestion is call the manufacturer and get there opinion and go with it. If you know more than them about it, then you should make the studs! I will guarantee you will have more trouble from over tourqeing than anything else. to say things do not change on your motor from hot to cold? Ever check valve lash hot and cold? Follow instructions and i doubt you will ever see much trouble.
 
I just got off the phone with a tech at ARP and he said a retorque was not needed...

So....who's right?

This was for the 247-4203 kit.

Who would you believe? The people that engineered the studs and will stand behind them if they fail when installed per their specifications would get my vote.
