HeliCoil? Headbolt hole

Its runnin again.

I had to pull the radiator and solder up a small hole and had to solder in 1 of the mounting brackets. But seems to run good.
 
Good to hear, did ya get all the other carnage fixed from this season haven't been able to keep up over on tha other forum since my unexpected booting

Didn't really have to much carnage from pullin this year other than the clutch and I fixed that a few weeks ago, but I do still need to throw some joints in my good front shaft and get a output yoke on the rear and do a front pinion seal.

I wanted to get the HG fixed before I went on a little 1300 mile road trip in a few weeks to Indiana.

I still gotta swap the cab, and even then I don't know if I'll paint it. I kinda like the multi color.
 
You should use threaded sleeve inserts. They are much stonger than heli coils. I used to install them in the 855 series cummins on a regular basis. Im sure they make the correct size for ours.
