Help me chose a clutch

Ya I said you dont have to get the hydrolics there just recommended. Im running the stock ones that started on a ofe and have been using them on the sprung 3600 for 8 months now and it doesnt traffic bad.

Are you the gentleman that snapped his hub springs??? try to grenade this next one please. it will be my first.

Dual discs are the way to go if you are wanting to sled pull. single plates will hold up just not as well and will hurt ur Daily driving

I don't know what broke, I will be finding out tommorrow morning when I pull the tranny out. I would much rather it be the clutch as opposed to the entire tranny.

I was getting a bad clanking noise while the clutch was engaged in neutral or any gear but the noise would go away when the clutch was disengaged. Like I said I would prefer it to be the clutch and if it is I still wouldn't have 1-bad thing to say about it! This clutch has held up to WAY more abuse in the time I have had it then I could have asked for.

To be honest it sounds like you broke your input shaft. Because if it was your clutch the noise would be constant since it is spinning at all times. But since the noise tends to go away when you disengage the clutch. Have you fixed your fifth gear nut yet??? Maybe its time to upgrade to the 1 3/8 input :D Actually you would need that with a DD anyway. Good luck on it and hope what ever broke is not a major dent in the wallet.

Yeah 5th gear nut was fixed by the previous owner, I am not too sure if it was the input because it will still move on its own power. But if you are letting the clutch out slowly in 1st gear you can kinda feel a "catch"... I don't know I am about ready to fix the thing and sell it...

Well I pulled the tranny and the clutch looked perfect after a year of hard work! The tranny on the other hand will be seeing the doctor monday! lol
