Help me decide what to do with my dodge.....

Just run 1/2 ton coils on the front if you are trying to lower it.

A couple of members have ran the 1/2 ton coils and said the front end is very bouncy with the heavy Cummins in it. I think Morse might have been one, when he had his 1/2 ton twin turbo Cummins.

1 coil off the springs is a 2" drop.

Yea, that's what I was thinking....basically what Kurt does with his truck, but I'd get lower it a little more than stock and run aggressive 33's for the sand drags....wonder what would be a good tire....I'm sure they won't let you run paddles...that would be tits.

cant be having it white though, so she will get repainted......

I would do a street/strip truck that can still tow. Oh wait thats my truck.

Taks the truck and take out the 4-3/4" block and do a 2" block with one coil cut off the front.

It will rip at the track and still tow.

Ian (ICSmoke) is running 1/2 ton coils and shorter rear blocks......he said he loved the way it rode.....so i may do this for a little more weight transfer to the rear, and like stated, get rid of the HUGE factory block.....this truck will be a toy cause i already have a cummins for pulling my trailer.....and street manners are of no real concern to me with this truck......

Hmm...what color to repaint it?

every color from TSC........:hehe:

and im not joking either.........

I really liked the idea of putting it on 5 tons but i'm fat and it would be a PITA getting in it, even with the 30.5x32 combine tires.....I may combine the drag/offroad/monster trucks all into one......lighten the truck as much as possible, if it dont need it, get rid of it, cut fatties on the back and skinnies on the front and have it setup to mud/sand race then be able to tweak a few things, bolt four 33x10.50x16 slicks on it and go drag racing the next day......truck already as 4:10 gears so im a head that way......oh, cant forget the hood stack.... :hehe:

mmmm... Hood stack me likey. I'd say stock hieght is good or cutting the springs a bit would look good too. The Dodge's have a very versitile suspension hieght out of the box IMO

International Harvester red....

Me and dad talked about it and we are going to build a mud/pavement drag racer........and if i ever do decide to pull it, not that much to tweak and its ready to pull........once i get it setup how i want im going to have a friend of mine build a nice set of his ladder bars for it......i dont know im im going to lower it though, cause of the fact the truck has 4:10 gears andill probably be running 33 inch slicks and 35 inch mud tires........

fender cut outs...won't need nothing to radical...or just lower the rear only.

What do you mean by a mud racer?

shallow mud, like 6-10 inches deep, like the NMRO runs.....not mud bogging.....im thinking flared fiberglass prerunner front fenders for tire clearance....

I don't know, I wouldn't go with to awfully flared fenders, they'd look dumb on a non lifted truck I think..

Drag it Logan!!

-You know how bad Michigan roads are! Ive been driving it the past week almost daily going down some secondary paved roads with no issues. I hit the bump stops a few times though.
-The truck rides 10x's smoother and corners around 45mph curves like a car its awesome!
-Personally I want go go down another 1-2" but maybe next year.

Just another option to think about!!:Cheer:

Ian

man....bet thta thing corners awesome

with a little hp it has got to be a blast to drive

i put those nittos on my R/T and lowered it a couple more inches and it doesnt drive like a truck anymore

know exactly what you mean
