Help with a problem VP truck please

You swap the cam sensor when you swapped the pump? How old are the batteries?

cam sensor not changed and batteries are almost new optima yellow tops.

Now I have a little to go on, go a P0500, and P1693 out of it with the key cycle. My little OBD code reader wont read them. If the codes are present the truck will not start, but if you hold down the milage reset when turning the key to run and alow it to reset it will run great untill you turn it off, then same thing.

P1693 is a Companion code is the JTEC Module. P0500 is No vehicle speed sensor signal.

does anybody have a diagram of the FPCM at the top of the VP44, I only show voltage on one wire but it drops from 12.40 with ignition on to 9.90 on cranking, is that correct?

Do you have another ecm to try???? After replacing the pump twice I would try a different ecm.

Thanks but I think we found the problem in the harness, but mom said I couldn't play anymore and I needed to come home so I will head out will solder and heat shrink in the morning, if thats not it the ECM will be the next move
