heres a little test and tune action

pretty expensive test rig. I would think you could buy a sled for less money than that tractor is worth...... then again you use what you have access to i guess. I have known more than one puller use another bigger tractor as a test sled... I personally use an old ih 2+2 that a friend of mine owns. he says it gives him a reason to get it out of the shed in the summer.
 
If I had something like that, I'd be doing it for sure.

Are the tractor brakes inside the rear end housing ("wet")? I imagine there's a lot of heat getting dissipated somewhere.

Back in the old days, a local antique tractor club here used a tri-axle with adjustable air pressure to the brakes. It worked fine but repeatability was iffy at best!
 
Looks good. I assume you are working on the breaking up in the top end?
 
Wow, seems like a really long pull, I guess if its good for 35+ seconds it should be good for 20 second pull! Sweet!
 
Gainer, are you testing the truck or the tractor to see how it will work for having a truck pull at your house.:rockwoot:
