High Mileage motor/High RPMs

I won't say 4100 is the blow up, but the guys a few years back that were pulling with big power had lots of trouble at the 4000-4400 mark. They had much better luck getting up at the 5000 mark.
 
Well then might just go on and shoot for 5000 or buy the 4000k kit and crank it down a lil and run more around 4750.

I don't doubt that there is a bad harmonic somewhere in that range, but you know how stuff gets blown out of proportion by magazine and forum "professionals"

remember when grinding your own fuel plate was a big no-no?! LOL! somehow mine seemed to work just fine... and now the first thing an arm-chair 12v "master" recomends when replying to a newb post is "grind your plate"

kinda like the whole "you need valvesprings to savely rev over 3000rpm" thing on the 12v's... :bang:bang:bang
