high press oil pump

so i replaced a high pressure oil pump with a brand new re-man from bosch. the truck will not start. it has fuel but just will not turn over. anything i have to do to prime anything or reflash. im lost please help

top of the timing cover, right above the hpop. there is a plug with an allen hex in it.

fill it to about 3/4 to 1/2 inch from the top

It should have filled on it's own by the sounds of how long he has been cranking on it, the other thing I commonly see is the accidental swapping of the EBPV and IPR connectors as it will not start with them swapped.

Damn! How do you manage that?Unless the wire harness has been pulled apart I dont think they would even reach one-another.
