the difference from the 06.5 and later truck is the CAN bus. Info is put out through " data streams " rather than through voltage as the older ECM's do. Not all of it but, some is data only. That may be the part that programmers can't figure out and could be doing something to hold the power back.
IMO, I doubt this is the case. My truck puts out more with a single charger than many I see with two of them. I'm also faster at the track than many with twins and heavier.
This leads me to believe it's in how things are set up in the truck. I can't say what but, many of us have close to the same set ups and yet can show many different results from it.
