Highest hp daily driven truck?

Lloyd Mills at the last dyno event was at 890 on fuel and like Rams-N-Hogs said he "turned it down to around 750" to tow his camper home. That truck is usually kept in wound tight mode and if you do not believe us ask Lloyd how well he is schooled on how NV5600's break.....LOL

Another one many forget about is John Porterfields Red Rocket at 800+.That truck has traversed the country more times than we all could probably count. If you find that truck on a trailer it probably stolen......Andy

On Edit....
Another one many here do not probably know or have seen is John Dimartino's(AKA-Snowman) twinned 24v truck that runs in the high 600's all the time.He also uses that truck all winter long plowing with a big salt spreader,a large wing plow and his wide front plow.He also was drag racing it and pulling locally with it at one time.He was one of the early east Coast TDR guys who made a big splash in the power area and still slips in and out of most of the bigger diesel boards from time to time. He,like John P,is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

My p-pump CR head 1999 made 795 and I drive it like I stole it every single day, and I got 21 MPG coming back from TS...Currently it's back in Lloyds shop after a driver induced melt down, hoping it'll make a bit more when it's done.

On Edit..I vote for Lloyds truck...it's always set to kill and seems to have something being tested on it everytime I talk to him.

I'm sure there are many 1k plus daily drivers out there.

In my opinion, daily driver means you DRIVE it that way, everyday, without turning it down. A 1k hp daily driver isnt one that went to a dyno and did 1k, but its turned down all the time to roughly 5- or 600. That, to me, is a ~600hp daily driver. Can it do more? Sure, but its driven daily at 600 instead of 1k

chris werner made 1400hp, the video is somewhere on you tube. he drove there and then swapped in his bigger injectors

I daily drive, and with a 130 mile a day round trip commute, that is really daily driving, with the engine tuned to low 800's. (Best mileage there at 18.5-19 mpg) flick of switch is 900+. Add a little squeeze and ???

I drive mine every single day and just dynoed at 868 hp. And by daily driving we are talking about everyday not just a couple times a week.

2006 cummins 6 inch superlift, 37's with 22's, 62/71/13 over S480, ppe duals, smarty tnt, mp-8, flux 3.4's, air dog, studs, springs, cfm, 5 inch exhaust, Isspro's, Billet tranny. 868 h.p. 12.61 @ 110 mph.Special Thanks to Siskiyou Muffler and Diesel Performance

Great job on the build Sisikyou Muffler thats a bad ride, how long have you been building twins and what kind of time do you have in the studs and valve springs, you should be proud

I drive mine on the same tune that went 128mph in the 1/4 at 7300lbs. HP calculator says 1000+.

The purple heart dodge owned by sgt.Robert Evens is daily driven at 976 hp 1672 tq and no drugs

Mines not over 700 officially yet (still this years goal). but since the day I've put a chip on it, it's always been set on max power. I've never seen a reason to drive on a lower setting. I figured I'll leave it turned up as high as I can so long as it's driveable at that level.
