Well decided to hop back on the dyno at Mid Atlantic after the Air Dog install we did a few weeks ago. Wanted to see if I gained anything over the stock fuel supply that was dropping to 5psi at WOT.

Made 625hp, so I picked up about 20hp with good fuel supply.. :rockwoot:
 
sounds like money well spent!! What kind of pressure are you seeing now WOT
 
good job Coop...i need to get up there on Lloyd's dyno sometime and do some tweaking. I'll make sure its on a day that you are there.

Pump Mods are full cuts, stock plate cut the best i could to resemble a 100 plate installed foward, 4k springs, AFC washers flipped with a spring from a 94 engine (bit heavyer), timined @ 21deg, pumps never been off so no rack cap yet.
Engine a tad over 200k miles with o-ringed studded head, 60# springs,mildly worked bowls. Otherwise stock
Hx35/14 over HT60/26, and stock intercooler with low cycle fatigue cracks all over it...lol

Lloyd had a full NOS bottle there but I was to scared to let him spray it

Glad to hear this cooper! Lloyd knows how to make power but his :nos: tricks scare me too! LOL
 
Nice numbers, Coop. Maybe it's time to start tweaking the dinosaur. Oh, wait, clutch first.

yeah but can you tow with those?

im sure with twins you could with yours, hence why my respect is more towards a towing set.. however im not selling these guys short......

in short i wish i was able or had the resources and experienced ppl close by to help me make those numbers...

Yeah I have a 73 Mercury Comet I race from time to time. It tows that very well, but its only like 3000lbs plus trailer.

The only way I would have been able to acheive anything is through the help of my close friends,Curt,Phillip,Jason,Lloyd,Andy,Joe,Nolan Deas, and the list goes on. Also the great people of CompD, for interacting in a comunity of diesel freaks, we all have our differances from time to time but in the end we all wanna have a good time wile enjoying our hobby.

My next goal is a bit out there but its fezable with a defferent set of twins. 700hp with washer flluid inj. but without removing the inj. pump. That will be extreme to say the least but Im gonna try.
