Hot air flow vs. Cold air flow

If your concerned with velocity consider this: Anytime you replace an intake/ exhaust component with a larger less restrictive version of the part you decrease the velocity. An increase in volume results in a decreases velocity.

increase in cross-sectional area nets a decrease in velocity, assuming the same mass flow rate through the given item.

The question really should be:
How much does Volumetric Efficientcy change as Air Density changes?

Example no IC:
Boost 55psi
IAT 590F
51 lbm/min

Example with IC:
Boost 55psi
IAT 204F
81 lbm/min

How much does the VE have to increase to make 51 lbm/min = 81 lbm/min?
