:bang

I guess I could use one of these to tie those compressors together???

:what:

Should work, same boot goes on Yard jockey trucks with 5.9's

If you want metal, call up Chris at Engineered diesel.
I have him cutting some stainless steel flange for my twins setup.

I was REALLY surprised that they were CHEAP!

You could do a v-band on the primarys turbo to a bead rolled the secondarys inlet.

Just a thought.

make sure that you wrap that hot pipe or have the inside of it ceramic coated. with the length of that hot pipe you will be losing alot of heat out of the pipe and the exhaust gases will contract and lose pressure between the turbos.

oh and the pressure drop do to the loss in that fitting is going to be high. that fitting has a poor flow for air.

Put a 45* elbow on the primarys outlet facing the front of the truck and then use a 90* elbow to tie them together. Something like this. Sorry about the crude drawing

Thats what I was thinking before coming across that cobras head.... considering the pressure drop mentioned skynyrd, maybe I need to work toward this or see what ED can produce for me?

I think it would be easier and cheaper to do it out a Stainless Steel 45* elbow and a Short radius 90*.

What size are you going to use? 3" or 4"?

for 3" you need from face o v-band to center 4-7/8" plus vband flange

4" would be 6-1/2" plus v-band flange.

You can always cut the legs off the 45 alittle.

x2...chris made my v-band flange for the primary charger

just have someone handy that can TIG it to the compressor cover

Look at SINNER's setup...

Shoot straight off your primary discharge into a pipe coming straight off the secondary.... Pic explains it better.

This is off of hellmans website

You Guys ROCK! Some great ideas here..... I will chuck the cobra head route and go with one of the other two pipe configurations. The last two (intersecting pipes) should be real simple to fab out... now I got to get on it!

:thankyou2:
