How many hooks did you guys make this year? Im not sure on the exact number but just from memory I counted about 40 individual pulls that I went to. Including all the times I may have dropped my first hook, any pull offs that I may have been in, and occassionally letting someone else hook it too, I think the truck hooked to the sled and made about 65 passes this year.

Oh and I forgot to mention that in all those hooks this year I didnt have ANY breaks, with the exception of a transfer case at the very beginning of the year which turned out to be related to something I broke last year. I did have a front UJoint that I noticed was going bad but I was able to replace it before it broke. In 2007 and 2008 I broke more driveshafts, ujoints, and yokes than I care to count, axle shafts, the rear ring and pinion, and bent the frame all to heck one time LOL . However this must have been my lucky year. Hopefully my luck will continue over into next year LOL

bragger! Your doomed for next year now that you said that. You better start saying your prayers for a good 2010.:rockwoot:

16 events, made 19 hooks. not nearly as many pulls around my way unless i want to travel 2-3 hours 1 way each weekend and i just cant afford the fuel for that.

35 events, 47 hooks, missed 4 events because of breakage, 3 or 4 rainouts, 20 first place finishes. Had a ton of fun and I'm not talking about a fat girl!:rockwoot:

You guys have a lot of events! A truck in my area makes 20-25 hooks each year if they make most events. I counted ~15 pulls in the area for next year (assuming the dates hold from this year). A guy could get a few more if they travel into Missouri, Iowa, and Kansas.

I count a whopping 7 so far, since I had a melt down 2nd hook into the season that put me out till August.

We ran 3 nights in a row more than once this year, some years we have had 4. In 07 we went to 50 events plus 3 rainouts. Ohio is great!!

We usually only have one weekend a year that there are 3 events in a row.

Sorry for the derail Josh.... Back to the people who made hooks this year.

Well, with the lack of pulling out here compared to the mid-west, I was able to make it to 9 events and with 11 hooks. Got to pull 3 times @ Casa de Fruta and some tracks I wouldn't even consider good hooks since the surface was just sandy crap and I got out of the fuel to keep the thing from bouncing to pieces.

Here's to a much more attentive 2010!:rockwoot:

most of the ones i went to got rained out but i made about 10 hooks this year. hopefully more to come next year, will just have to see how school plays out, and the trailer if i can get one when i need it.

I had close to 40 hooks this year. And that wasn't even trying to make all of them.

34 events and 48 hooks to the sled this year. 9 Wins this year, 6 of them being KOTTPA points pull wins.

Break Down:

Kottpa - 21 events - 29 Hooks - 6 Wins - Finished no worse than 4th place at each event- Won the 2009 2.5 diesel points race.

Battle of the Bluegrass - 2 events - 3 Hooks - took home 4th in super street at danville and 5th and 6th place in 2.6 at danville and temple hill

Clementsville Motorsports - 3 Events - 4 hooks - Best Finish was 3rd at Liberty, Ky

Other Non Sanction events - 8 events total - 12 hooks to the sled. Best finish was the SKPPARTs diesel day winning 2.6 and putting it on the hill twice.

Its been a fun year for me aswell, too bad I had to cut it short and sell the truck.

None... truck never was running :(
I hope 2010 is alot better!

30 hooks, 22 events, 231sts, 3 2nds, 1 3rd, 1 5th, 1 6th, 1 20th+...

Almost every hook that I didn't place 1st, something broke or went wrong...

Broke 2 transfer case slip yokes, 3 rearend yokes, stock driveshaft, 8+ 1410 solid u-joints, and twisted the transfercase output shaft.

Team Truckless attended several pulls and hooked to the sled 0 times. :(

The ONLY bright side to this is that means I had zero breakage! As opposed to the "Driveline Breakage Tour of 2008" If all goes as planned there will be a truck fielded for the 2010 season. It might be ugly - and it probably won't win - but damn it we are going to have a good time!

I hit about 20-25 pulls (30 or so Hooks) last year all together, Fianally have the ol girl running half way decent. Hopefully Ill get to add a few more to the tally next weekend @ Corbin... :rockwoot:
