Fuel only or spray, don't care...how many of them have put down over 1k on a dyno.

Only one I know of is keith's truck (nasty girl), I guess you could include the banks truck because its still part dmax but lots of stuff there the average guy couldn't afford too.

Clint Cannons Boogiemax, The dirtymax drag truck im sure, Wes kusilek's mod truck im sure will be there. There is more than just one...you just done hear about them.

Lets try again...

How many known 1,000hp dmax's?

As in, have strapped to a dyno, spun the rollers and had an outcome greater than 1,000hp...

and no this isn't any kind of dodge vs chevy thing. Im just in an argument with someone who says they know of at least 15 dmax's that are KNOWN to be over 1k.

well, one. Nasty Girl is the only one OVER 1k.

there are several that are close. in the 800+ zone, none on spray IIRC

Clints BoogieMax is like 970, dirtymax actaully dosent make that much power
Powermax Express just did 890
etc, etc, etc...

A while back Wade from ATS was makin around 800 in his, just tore it down to do more motor work i think

Thank you. I know the dmax's are strong, I am not doubting that. I was just wondering how many were a PROVEN 1,000hp. I asked the guy to show me where the other 14 were.

Where is he saying they are?

I'm surprised we haven't seen another one yet. Bet we do this summer...

if you look at mph in the quarter the race dmax of Bucks will be at 1000 or above.this is hp applied to the track bot the rollers.does this count?

He's not bashing the Dmaxes, just only counting what's proven with dyno sheets. I bet a few of the pullers are over 1k too.

Heavy HD, as bones was saying you can get a good idea from the trap speed versus the weight of the vehicle.. Put it this way, a 3500 pound vehicle only needs around 650 at the wheels to go 9.50's (if I remember correctly)..

Orange Crush had a trap speed of 145 mph at 4300lbs you do the math.

Ok i did the math and got 889whp.

again im talking publicly known 1,000hp, where it dynoed it and then phones rang and internet boards were set ablaze with the amazing news that a dmax cracked 1k...apparently its only happened once and it was done by kieth.

we can end the thread now. thanks

why is getblown's question so difficulty to give a straight answer? If it doesnt have a dyno sheet to prove it, leave your oinion out, its that simple. Hes not asking for speculation.
