How many known 1,000hp dmax's?

Zero. They're all incognito. Be vewwy vewwy careful....

maddog uses his truck for hunting am i right about that??? and lmills used his truck for plowing and he hit 1283 i think it was??? was that on #2 though or the :nos:

Like mention before chevys are know dyno queens i laid down 350 hp on the rollers couldnt get turbo to lite and nothing went right. Backed that up with a 13.20@105 mph with a race weight of 6800 pounds on 35 inch mudders. Its amazing that a stock turbo wont light sometimes

Only one I know of is Nasty Girl, the truck that made more trips to Taco Bell than it did down the track.

There has only been one Duramax make 1000 RwHp on the dyno but it also ran low 12's if I recall at the track. The truck is heavy at about 7000 lbs. Pat's truck with Pat in it weight at Houston last year was 6200 lbs and ran 10.8 on NOS. Buck's truck comes in at about 6000 with Buck in it and has run a best of 9.84 1/4, and 1.8 at 6.09@ 114mph. I think if TS goes as planned the 1/4 mile time is going to drop to the 9.5 range. You run the numbers and see who's making the power!

x2 The nos on pats truck was just to get the trubo lite. That is when casper had hard times because of converters.

I think Pat went 10.65 on the spray in houston... Regardless Buck and Jess's truck is extrememly fast and clearly making substantial power! Congrats to them! :rockwoot:

..........uhhh huh....same for Buck... he just tickles the charger to get it to light then it is all fuel too LOL

are you sure pat was running nos what that 10.8 run in houston.

Pat ran NOS for the complete 1/4 mile pass not just to lite the charger, as I was standing right there and so were lots of others, he only ran a 10.8 in Houston and there were no converter problems with his truck. Kat made passes on Saturday and Sunday in Casper with the same converter and went quicker than Pat did, regardless of who drove the truck it still ran a best of 10.68 with Kat in it I believe in Houston as I didn't see her pass. So your comparing Buck's 9.84 on NOS to Pat at 10.8 on NOS with the 2 trucks at near the same weight and they are both Extend Cab 4 x 4.

yep, that's what I'm saying... not comparing though... just straightening a little detail out and congratulating BOTH for having fast trucks... clearly Bucks is a fair amount faster and if it truly weighs nearly the same, a fair amount more powerful naturally.

nothing more, nothing less.
