Pat ran NOS for the complete 1/4 mile pass not just to lite the charger, as I was standing right there and so were lots of others, he only ran a 10.8 in Houston and there were no converter problems with his truck. Kat made passes on Saturday and Sunday in Casper with the same converter and went quicker than Pat did, regardless of who drove the truck it still ran a best of 10.68 with Kat in it I believe in Houston as I didn't see her pass. So your comparing Buck's 9.84 on NOS to Pat at 10.8 on NOS with the 2 trucks at near the same weight and they are both Extend Cab 4 x 4.

I'd like to see Pat and Kat bring their truck out to TS this year...or maybe the "Comp Invite" thing?
There has only been one Duramax make 1000 RwHp on the dyno but it also ran low 12's if I recall at the track. The truck is heavy at about 7000 lbs. Pat's truck with Pat in it weight at Houston last year was 6200 lbs and ran 10.8 on NOS. Buck's truck comes in at about 6000 with Buck in it and has run a best of 9.84 1/4, and 1.8 at 6.09@ 114mph. I think if TS goes as planned the 1/4 mile time is going to drop to the 9.5 range. You run the numbers and see who's making the power!
I am sure we will see some big things this year from some new and old players. It WILL be the year of the Dmax...............Don't say it Greg! LOL
Nawwwh, you're truck makes 235 RWHP. Hell, it's just a plain-jane LB7.
Looks to be only one "known" 1,000 HP Duramax on the rollers. Although, it sounds strange that an 800HP Duramax could out run a 1,000HP Cummins?
so how many D-max's can make 800hp on stock internals? And how long will it last? I've seen cummins with 800HP on stock internals, and have 10,000+miles doing it. Cash to cash and mods to mods, I stil think the cummins is king, my opinion. Unless you can prove me wrong, But why has the aftermarket rod sales for D-maxes gone up 1000% in the past year or two?

When we give a **** about what you think, we'll ask.
No, I didn't run 10.65 in Houston Pat did. You also know that I was not allowed to run on Sunday.
You are lying. You know it too.
Right. At the end of the year, there are no awards for who can do what with stock rods or stock injectors or any of that crap. That's just people trying to create a special category for themselves so they can give themselves (and others) the impression that they did something of significance.
There are winners, and then everyone else.
Who cares what was spent?
I get so annoyed with the baloney "yeah but we drove it here" disclaimers and such BS. Ya won, or ya lost. That's it. No whining!
