How many people actually daily drive 220hp+ injectors?

Ok with a single huffer what power level do you start needing head studs??:poke:

I guess I should have added that I ran a .020 over headgasket too. The lowered compression is probably why mine would smoke slightly at idle. If you dont think they surge with the cruise on you better go ride in the truck again and try it. We tried the higher number of holes and none of them worked better.

The only reason they surged with the cruise was due to the smarty. While I personally haven't ran the mach 6's I know my 11 holers which were rated at 200+ didn't surge with the cruise either.

Ok, so if I go with 220's would a FASS 150 be good enough for fuel supply, or do I need to upgrade the 3/8" fuel line to 1/2" line as well? Also, would an upgraded camshaft reduce the idle and cruising smoke?

The FASS 150 with the 3/8" line it comes with will be more than enough to supply your motor.

The level of smoke is relative to the person and their opinion on it. What might be to much to one person might not be enough to matter to another. So just install them and see how you like it. A cam might help with the cruising smoke but not with the idle smoke. Besides, it's kinda cool to see a truck with a slight haze at idle.

I live at 5000ft and have 37's and have run Mach 6 for years. I drive with the comp off most of the time but it is easy to control smoke for daily driving.

I run Don M's Mach 6's (220) with a SB 66. Like stated above, light haze at idle until the truck warms up, and stays smoke free unless you hammer it.

I run M 7's, a little hazy but not bad at all. I drive boxes off when just cruis'in, I even towed a 10K trailer the other day with it and the egt's didn't see above 1150. They light up the twins so quicky all never go smaller.

Holy crap, your truck is bombed! I am hoping to get mine there by summer if all goes well, but I keep breaking other stuff before I get a chance to bomb some more. I've been eyeing up DDP 250 sticks, but I've been told to stay away because of too much idle and cruising smoke. I should try them for myself, I can always save em for the other engine I have in the works.

I've ran 6's and some huge 8's on a 66 , and then on a VERY larger single, loved em both, no problems, With twins you should be great!

How do the ddp's in the 200 and 250 horse range work. I'm putting twins on one of my trucks again and looking at the 200's probably. I'd run the 250's if they are streetable.

Ive been running some mach 7.5 for a couple of weeks with a sps 66 very manageable. there is a light haze though

My Mach 7's at sea level were very clean and usually got 17-18 mpg driving back and forth to work, and they idle way smoother than these POS stock sticks I have in there now.And they were feed along with the vp44 with MITUSA mechanical pump that held a constant 17psi at idle and varied up to 21psi throughout the RPM range even on kill @ WOT.

I daily drove my 03 with single charger and 42lpm stixs in mine for over a year, constant haze at idle but bye themselves didnt smoke as much as one would think but they sure rolled it when programming was added.

Their very comaparble on cleanliness

Can't speak for all trucks, but on my truck my DDP "250" sticks had a little less patial throttle/ normal acceleration smoke than your Mach 7's when i test drove them that day. WOT all out hailing the mail smoke was the same.

DDP 250's will be very streetable with twins, I daily drive my 250's with a silver bullet 66, and smarty and can drive all day with nothing more than a light grey haze when i shift, and EGT's stay managable with no load on the truck. if you aren't towing get the bigger ones...you will like them!

I ran a set of 7x.018's during the summer for pulling. I wouldn't recommend it in a smog-testing state. They hazed heavy at idle and while driving. Surging was bad as well, but running the cruise took care of it. These were run with a gt42. I run 180 Bullydogs on the street now and have no problems, though.
