how much can 160 pump make in hp?

Thats good to know im looking to get into the550 range w/ my 160 pump so this thread makes me feel alot better, but is it an absolut have to to have your pump benched to get tp that kind of power range?
 
Very good info. Please write more stuff if anyone have nice ideas of getting more fuel out of the 160 pump other than what been posted here already
