How much hp will stock 12v cam support??

I made 713 HP on a stock cam. Super B Special, 887 Pump with a #6 plate, 4KGSK, 191DV's, 25*, and DDP4's.

This dyno run was the same setup, but timed at 22*. It made 600 HP@2400 rpm and didn't fall back under 600 until around 3500 rpm.

113 HP with a 3* timing difference????? There has to be more than just a timing difference in those setups.

Edit: read the post wrong and my phone wouldn't load the graph to see the 667hp. Still a pretty big jump for 3* but more believable.

I'm going to run a 5gsk kit not because I'm going to rev it that high but because of if I want to upgrade cam head ect. later on. Then I don't want to have to buy another kit. Originally I wanted to build a 2.6 puller but because of such competition at these levels I'm thinking downgrading to work stock is more in my price range. If a need for a bigger than stock cam was needed to compete then I guess I'd have to upgrade

Also I have took into consideration that you guys making them good numbers with a stock cams are not running stock turbos. I may run a s400 based charger during my off season but then back to my workstock charger for pulling. But nevertheless I PLAN on trying to stick with stock camshaft.

Yea I know it but I really just don't know what I would like to do in the future. I'm gonna try to maintain stock bottom end and cam and maybe next year I'll go to some good fly cuts and large cam
