What's the best place to check the records on certain setups?

I've bn hearing the stock injector, stock turbo record is 557 horses ,but I can't find anything in writeing that says if that is the record or not. Any input?
 
There are no books for diesel records. Just he said she said. So hey congrats your 30hp from breaking the record you know about. LOL
 
Haha yeah but suposedly that's not the record because the guy had DDP injectors so idk lol. I was just wantin to see if anybody new for sure
 
IMHO it's kind of dumb that there are all these threads about the record for a white truck, with stock turbo, _____ injectors, that dynoed in the morning.

Build what you can afford, and tune it the best your skills will let you.

Most hp on the platform, yeah that's a record, but with 3 asterisks on it to detail the parts you did or didn't buy, I just don't get.
 
I agree. I dnt see why there isn't a way to keep track of this stuff. Hopefully by the next time I dyno mine will have different injectors and turbo so it realy doesn't matter to me. I think I pushed my stock cp3, injectors and turbo to there max lol.
 
You've found the place. The internet. If there is anyone willing to say they broke the record for having the highest hp ___ it's on the net. A great place for unconfirmed claims ;)
 
I have the highest HP, highest torque CR on the planet with 12 water/meth nozzles in the runners.
 
I just thought that my stock injector/ turbo numbers are pretty stout but then I got a pm sayin the the record is 557 or somethin and I was kinda shocked. I honestly don't think 557 is capable on a setup like mine but who nows
 
you would have to tune the crap out of it and maybe get an extra 20 or so hp but very unlikely. But then again the guy that did 557 could have a 8.3lt CP3 from the factory like cody. LOL

How much boost on your 527 hp run? I believe the guy at 557 was between 50 and 55psi on the stock turbo to flash the HP number up that high.
 
i think the highest i hit was 44 psi but i wasnt watching to close. plus i have a 07 5.9 so it starts falling off at 3k rpms so i think iam maxed out unless theres some secret stuff lol
