I am trying to do some tuning on my truck so I'm trying to figure out what all the tuners do exactly, and what a HRVP 44 does. I'm running the BD HRVP 44 and have loved it since I put it in, but I wonder what makes it so hot over a stock pump? Does it just up the pressure? Or does it change the timing? let me know what it does please.

barrels and plungers are supposedly bigger.

I am pretty sure that VP's do not have barrels. Maybe a modification to the cam ring and/or the delivery plungers???

We do nothing with timing, there is pumping plungers in a VP but not to be confused with the plunger and barrel style like a P-Pump.
I do apologies but that's about all I can say, when you find something that works and no one else is doing it... then you keep it a close secret... :rules:
