HTT Wastegate Issue ?Fix Yet?

Mine must be alright then cause my boost gauge slaps 47psi and holds.

What are significant signs that the pucks are not sealing? Perhaps this be happening to me and I do not even no it.

My boost gauges flutter like a mofo, boost numbers peak and drop. Are these signs??

I suppose it could go over time, slowly and it might not be obvious, both time's mine has went it was really obvious, (don't have it apart yet) but this time the arm is totally free, pucks just floping around or caught in the primary exaust housing....who knows.


Big time loss of spool, and cruise egt's way higher than normal are sign's, my guages are steppers, so I don't see flutters, but that could be.

Frankly if you have any time on it I can't imagine it not messed up, at least if it has the same parts as mine.

point taken...however I sent my gauges back to auto meter cause they fluttered bad..they added something dampening to elimiate the flutter. But maybe my gate has been shot all along?

I posted a thread a week ago about my temporary fix. I put some c-clips in to tighten things up. Other then crazy spoolup and the truck faster, I noticed how the boost gauge was steady. Wait for the fix before you try for 1k again before you send any programmers back
