Hi, I'm looking for the size of the wheels on the turbine and compressor side of a HX35 off of a 2nd generation Ram. Does anybody know what these are, or could someone show me where I might find these? Thanks ahead.

98.5'-2002 HX35's are 7blade compressor 54mm x 78mm, turbine 58mm, 12cm^2 dual volute wastegated housing.

94-98 HX35's are 8blade compressor 54mm x 83mm, turbine 58mm, 12cm^2 dual volute wastegated housing.

didnt the automatic transmission trucks come with a 9cm^2 exhaust housing?

also, what year model(s) did the HY's come on? isnt that also known as a HE351?

I tried searching for a turbo tech thread on CF and there was nothing.

hy35 is a 54/58/9 i think, 00-02 autos, the he341 is 03-04 trucks, he351 is 05-07 the only diff between the 341 and 351 is the 351 has an electronic wastegate

ok, yeah, 54/58/9 was what i said. i didnt realize the 341 had a smaller wheel than the 351.

Yep, HE351cw flows quite a bit more air than any of the older stock turbos. One guy just posted a dyno sheet of 572 hp with a stock HE351cw. You'll never see that on a second gen but I made my numbers with the HE351cw.

What is the size of an HX 40 compaired to the HE341 and 351

Thanks! now since I know nothing what is the significance of the numbers other than bigger is better?

a/b/c

a is the inducer of the compressor wheel (mm)
b is the exducer of the turbine wheel (mm)
c is the size of the turbine housing (cm)
