I Bent 3 Rods.

I noticed it really after the 1st hook and it seemed to loose power also, I do know my crank gear was half sheered and my rods were bent mabey the reason for my less than potential runs all season?:doh:

Better than hanging a rod out of the block, just depends on how you want to look at it, I like your determination though!

Atleast you found it now Brandon! It is weird how some of these engines I have torn apart had 3 different types of rods. USA, France, and Mexico all in the same engine. Anyone else notice this too?
 
I have never heard about Made in France rods :what:


I have : England, Mexico and Japan rods

USA rods should be the best.

Last year was basically stock engine...+.020 HG was about it on the compression end of things, AFAIK


I still say it was the spray;)

Checkin piston protrusion today 3 holes were in the neg. -.037, -.025, -.035 (NOT GOOD). Needless to say beat the pistons out of it and 3 rods were bent. It was never hydrolocked. They were Brazils. FML
