This thread is about Kevin and his newly modified Harley Davidson Edition Super Duty. Definately One Bad Truck :rockwoot:


With some more mods...it can definately be the BADDEST 4x4 Super Duty......although I know of a certain person who has some big plans for his SD to really distance himself from all the other modded ones out there :evil

(and no, I'm not referring to anything I have planned :D )

Why do you all want your trucks so tall,for use on the street?
I am not saying there is anything wrong with it. I just wonder
is it for the big look, can you see better? I like 4-6 in. lift, just
wondering! Not flaming anyone.

I'm keeping it stock...that is unless I get the motor pulled and do everything like Rich has done. I blew the HG in my last truck with a Superchips 1704...so I don't want to take any chances.

That's a fair question....and I will reply with this.....

This truck rides BETTER at 16" than when it was stock....no joke. It is all in how it is done and the components you choose. Marty was able to achieve the perfect balance...I do not experience any body roll while driving and this thing soaks up the bumps like you would not believe. Yes I can see much much better up here than I ever could down there. I am also more comfortable up here than down low. My turning radius is exactly as it was when it was stock as well. In summary this truck can do anything a stock truck can do besides tow a fifth wheel (which I don't do)....and rides better to boot.

That truck is bad ass, my 03 rides better at 16" than it did at 4" I love it and drive it everyday.

Bear- i would at least get an SCT with a tow tune. A little more power and the engine brake with the tow/haul feature would help slow that beast down.:poke: I dont see any risk this way.

Programming has come along since the Superchips was released.LOL

....how about a Lo-Jack or something in this one? Something that has it's own power supply so we can "visit" the crooks next time. Probably won't need the law just a bus. :dead-horse-fast2:
