I hate thin air!!!

....my girl at the time was sitting on the center console to "get away from the edge of the cliff"

Well, I personally don't mind if they get over closer ;)
However, playful thoughts seem to fade a little in instances like that. I have taken my TT once on a not so steep dirt road down to a lake, and it tipped enough to make my WD bars groan, and my guts were kind of cold and shrunk as I was thinking, now what? is it going to tip over? I think my wife just about fainted. But the TT was just fine, I think it would take a lot more tipping than I am willing to give it.
Sorry for the OT!

lol, my dad had the family suburban teetering between the left front and right rear wheels one time going over Cinnamon Pass... he was trying to PASS SOMEONE!!! LOL some family in a jeep and the guy was literally idling up in 4LO 1st gear.

gee, I wonder where I get my impatience from? :p

I'm the same way, can't stand the putzers going up the mountain at 10 under.

Then you have the idiots that have lived here for all of about a month and think they can drive like being on the 405 in Cali.

Speed x Curve = a wadded up mess!

well, I've got no patience for slow drivers anywhere, but Cinnamon is no place to try to pass someone!! LOL! the guy finally got a clue after seeing dad teeter the ol' burban on two wheels (I, of course, was seated on the exposure side looking down into the valley below! LOL) he kinda hung two wheels off of the next switchback so that dad could squeeze past him

and yeah, I've gone in a little hot on some curves up there and if there had been an oncoming vehicle in the other lane, it would have been a mess! I've calmed down a lot as far as stuff like that, but when it comes to turtles in front of me? well... there's a reason I can't stand driving anything with less than about 500hp!

12v or 24v? how much timing are you running? my 98 last year w/ my sps62 (and not enough timing) was TOASTY going over Wolf Creek... LaVita wasn't as bad for whatever reason, but I had to keep the ol' girl wound up pretty tight.

and let me tell ya, Wolf Creek holding 2500-3000rpm with a 5" straight pipe exiting in front of the rear tire!?? LOL! oh yeah, windows down!! (god bless my wife)

WOOT!!! :rockwoot:

the oil field is boomin' pretty good around Grand Junction. I'm considering a transfer up there in the next couple years.

I gotta get up there for good somehow... as close to Creede as possible. every year the withdrawls get worse and worse.

we're headed up there for the 4th... gonna light out early on the 3rd. It's only a 17hr drive
